THUSDAYS: Mixed Media Art Course

In this mixed media art class children will explore a variety of materials such as clay, watercolour and acrylic painting, collage, and 3D paper construction. Over the 8 weeks we will complete 3 creative projects: 1) a diorama – create a custom world with paper, paint, and clay; 2) a 3D paper house with balloons (inspired by the movie UP); and 3) a canvas painting with paper collage elements incorporated.

Sewing Classes

Kids 7+

All levels – from beginner to advanced – are welcome. Learn how to safely operate a sewing machine as well as a variety of embroidery hand stitches, and advanced techniques such as pattern making, weaving and how to add attachments such as zippers or pockets.
